Denny’s Aquascapes and Aviary is your store for anything your budgie needs. We supply: cages, toys, feed and recommendations.

We use Animal Ark Veterinary, 3024 West 12 St, Erie Pa. 814-838-7387 for our local needs and Dr. Scott McDonald for surgical sexing etc.

We guarantee all our birds for 72 hours as to health and soundness. A veterinary visit is necessary within that time. Bands for identification purposes must remain in place. This guarantee is voided for any of the following reasons:

Smoke in the home. Teflon odors. No vet visit. Band is removed. Failure to provide clean fresh water and proper nutrition. Failure to protect the bird from cats or dogs, etc. Do NOT feed: coffee, chocolate, avocado, or any other toxic plant listed at: http://www.cockatiel.org/articles/plantlist.html.

All babies come with toenails and feathers trimmed for safety reasons.

Your Bird needs a SMOKE FREE and Fume FREE home. Cooking with Teflon pans is toxic and will cause death. Paint fumes are toxic. Cigarette smoke is eventually toxic. Carpet Fresh and room deodorizers are toxic. Do NOT use Cedar chips. Gas is toxic. Fingernail polish remover is harmful. Glue odor is harmful. Car exhaust is toxic. A good rule to follow is: If it bothers you a little then it bothers your (much smaller) bird a LOT! Remember the history of the Canary. The Canary was taken down into the mines because it died before the workers knew the fumes were deadly. If the canary died, everybody ran. Your bird is sensitive.

Feather trimming and toenail clipping is available by a Certified Avian Specialist at $5/bird. Fuel charge is $3 to Erie per trip and is subject to my schedule.
